Wedding - Mary Kate Davis

Mary Kate is another bride who wanted a consistent "look" to use throughout her stationery suite and beyond. A logo is great for individualizing your event and putting your stamp on everything from your paper to your accessories such as koozies, napkins, hotel bags, etc. We came up with a quirky emblem and then added one block and one script font that were used everywhere . Mary Kate sent out a save the date that set the mood and introduced her logo to her guests. We used a lavendar on the save the date, which was pulled from Mary Kate's floral color scheme and also added a playful element to her suite.

Her emblem and font scheme carried through to her wedding invitation, seen above (photo by Photography by Jill).

Best Wishes to the happy couple!

Weddings Abound!

A custom wedding logo really personalizes your day! Read more about Alley and Leighton's wedding on Neillie Butler of Mariee Ami's website. (Napkin photo courtesy of Beth Hontzas Photography)

These candy label picks are a fun way to add some pizazz to an already creative idea... A candy bar instead of a groom's cake! (photo by Eric Champman Photograpy and wedding planned by Mariee Ami!)

So, yes, I know that I have been a terrible updater this past year. Besides keeping up with my adorable child, Mrs. Neillie Butler of drum roll - you guessed it! - Mariee Ami has kept me so busy. We have worked on numerous weddings together in 2011, creating everything from placecards, to logos to adorn koozies and napkins to full stationery suites. Follow both of us on Facebook to keep up with our crazy going ons!

Sidenote: I have SO SO SO much other great stuff that I have been working on that I would love to post as soon as my child sleeps through the night or I get un-lazy. We'll see what happens first.

XOXO and thanks for sticking around!

Libby V! I thought you were dead!

I'm not dead...REPEAT, I'm not dead. Just been putting the blog on the back burner for the last YEAR! Since the last thing I posted was William's birth announcement, I think it's only appropriate I post his first birthday invite. It turned out so adorable - done on white 100# linen paper with rounded edges.
